Maison du Père is fortunate to have a dedicated team of regular volunteers who, beyond the tasks they perform
make a significant contribution to the empowerment of the men we support through the bonds of trust they are able to build.

INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERING
You can choose to get involved at Maison du Père by becoming a volunteer and supporting our organization through one of its many services: kitchen, cafeteria, clothing room, laundry, etc.
To meet the logistical needs of Maison du Père, individual volunteering requires a commitment of three hours per week during a predetermined fixed time slot.

OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE INVOLVED IN ALL SERVICES:

Food services (serving and kitchen)

Thrift store, laundry, and clothing services

Medical escorts and friendly visits

Recreational activity facilitation (cultural, artistic, musical, sports)

Various care services (hairdressing, acupuncture, foot care, massage therapy)

CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING
Based on the logistical needs of Maison du Père, you may be tasked with activities such as decorating rooms for themed events, preparing mailings, indoor and outdoor maintenance work, and more. To participate in this activity, your company is required to make a donation to Maison du Père. This can be a monetary donation or another type of contribution, such as an in-kind donation.
For more information and to book a group day in the community, please contact the Volunteer and Community Activities Coordinator.
We welcome groups of 10 to 25 people. If you're interested in getting involved, please note that, due to our regular team of volunteers who contribute daily to various tasks at Maison du Père, it is essential to book at least one month in advance. We also offer a tour of our organization to help you discover the various services we provide.
